5 MONTHS! wow that was fast...

Dinnner.... haha, and my chicken face.

Hey, Everybody!                                                                          October 28,2013

So, like I said, I am on my fourth comp of my mission right now. Everyone else who came in with me in my group is on their second. I am now a professional at teaching the area to new elders, this is my third time. I show him all the trails and caminos, and he won’t know the area for like 3 weeks, haha, so I definitely am the senor comp.

My new comp is Elder Rivera, and he is from Nicaragua. He talks like an islander like someone from Jamaica or the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, haha. When he answers the phone, he says, "ELLO" in his enormously deep island voice, his accent makes me laugh. But, he is a really good Elder, and we are working hard together. I’m not training. We have like the same amount of time in the mission, but I’m the senor comp cause I know the area. We are working really hard to get this family of 10 to church. If they attend for these next Sundays, we could possibly baptize all of them on November 17th! Anyways, my new comp is great, and we are going to have miracles in Quilinco.

Hey did I mention we had this gran conference in Quilinco Domingo, and we had 115 people show up, wow!!!! and 40 or more of them weren’t members. Also the very same morning we helped a lady with one leg, walk up the mountain to our little capilla. It took like 20 minutes, but when we arrived and saw all the people in the chapel inside and outside, it was an amazing sight.

Hey thanks for everything mom, and all the family, I love you guys a lot, and really appreciate to hear from you every week. I got to go catch the last bus to Quilinco, so I will talk to ya next week! Good luck with everything, I love ya tons, and am stoked for these next 19 months that I have left in the mish!!!!!!! 5 MONTHS! wow that was fast...

My new comp. - Elder Rivera, he is 21, like 5 foot 6, is from Nicaragua, and sounds like Bob Marley when he talks. When he answers the phone, he says, "ELLO" in his enourmously deep island voice. He is a really good Elder, and we are working hard together.

Today for pDay we went to Canopy, which is a Zip line out in Zaculeu. It was super sweet and the highest Zip line was like 300 meters, pretty tight.
