YOSO, LESSSSS GOOOOOO!!

Elder Amaya, hauling agua, YOSO, Catracho.

This week Elder Flores got changed, and elder muse got a new kid, his name is elder monge, he is also from Honduras. They´re sending us right now pure Hondurans. He´s a really great guy and I got to go on a three day division with him while e. muse did baptismal interviews in Santa Ana las huistas.

So I wanted to share a cool story with you guys. This last week we ate lunch with Hermana Brisna, the mom of the little girl we baptized back in November. While we were at lunch she told us an interesting story. Well, so it turns out that the Sunday before Brisna and her family didn’t go to church because, Brisna (the mom) was really, really sick. We had taught the primary lesson that day, and all her kids had missed the lesson so we went over to visit her and her family and teach her 4 kids what they had missed. We sat down and taught them the primary lesson exactly how the manual instructs us to, and they listened and learned and laughed. What we didn’t notice is that during the lesson Hermana Brisna had called her husband who has been in the states for 5 years now without seeing his family, and she gave the phone to her little 5 year old son to hold on to during the lesson. So, during the entire lesson the husband was able to listen to us teach. (We had no idea) Well... while eating lunch with the Hermana brisna she told us that her husband had called her later that night and said. While I listened to the Elder Speak, I felt the spirit so much that I started to cry. It’s good to know that Heavenly Father has sent two missionaries like them to protect my family while I`m away.

When she told us the story i was so surprised that the husband had been listening to the entire lesson. It made me happy to know that we could be the answer to a father`s prayers who lives so far away from his children.

Hermana Monica... we´re always hauling water out of her well, when you think you´ve finished filling everything up, they bring out more buckets to fill, ha-ha.

Welcome to the Laguna of Zaculeu.... It reminds me of the Bountiful Pond but worse, ha-ha.

This is one of the farthest away parts of my area.

It was Elder Rodgerson´s B'day, so I asked the restaurant to sing for him..... his b'day was actually last week, but I forgot.... so I guess it was a late Birthday.

Hey, I’m finally celebrating Christmas here in Guatemala!!
