LESSSSS GOOOOO, ZONA ZACULEU

Getting our luggage down from the bus after arriving in xela at 6:00 in the morning... we woke up at 3 to get there...

What I drew on the back of the pickup we were riding is as we drove to the terminal with all the elders luggage, super super early..... YOSO

el padre y el hijo adoptado, jeje... ;)
I don’t remember if I mentioned to you guys, but I got an HIJO, haha well I got an adopted child, who has six weeks in his mission and I am going to finish his training! Elder Baadsgaard is training as well, and new elder from Mexico. The weird part is that me and e. Baads are still comps. haha, We are living all together as 4 missionaries, and when we have to go do zone leader stuff, me and elder baadsgaard are comps, and our hijos stay together in our area working. So its pretty exciting stuff, and we are super excited. We share all the same investigators, and its been a real success.

Our first day as comps, me and Elder Maynes, who is from Utah, had to move houses cause we had to find a house with 2 bathrooms. We found something, also bonito, and we piled up our neighbors pickup truck with mattresses and desks and everything hauled it over to the house. E. Maynes only has 6 weeks in the mission field, but has learned Spanish really well, and he is so excited to work and preach this gospel with all his heart might mind and strength. I am excited to take part in the finishing of his training, and being able to learn from him as well.
Some of his talents are singing, tumbling, clogging/tap dancing, and cracking jokes all the time. He is 19 years old and is from Riverton Utah.

He we are with E. Higly and E. Shoemaker who helped us move into our new house, they are new elders to the zone, and are going to be stationed up in Colotenango. High up in the Mountains.

Here´s another pic of the Fantastic Four. It´s so much fun being together in a cuarto compañerismo.

This is a pic my comp took as he flew into Guatemala, its sooo sick!!!

This is our whole zone at the Ruins of Zaculeu

Our attempt at the Beetles Abby Road

These are pics of me and my new comp. in the ruins.

The new hijo, fallin asleep in personal studs, ha-ha, we work super hard, and that’s why he´s tired... ;)

I’m sure you have all seen by now the new video, He is the Gift... If not, go look it up.

Everyone here has got their Christmas trees up, they are all super legit, but nothing beats our freshly cut 13 foot pine tree, it’s for sure the best. I hope you are all enjoying the freezing winter winds, as I’m here sweating during the day, and nice and cool during the night.

Feliz Cumpeaños a mi hermano, Aarón! I thought I´d wish you an early happy b-day rather than a late one. I can almost wish everyone a feliz navidad pretty soon. Christmas time is back again!!? What!? It seems super unreal, it was just a year ago, on December 7th, that the whole country was burning giant scare crows, made to look like devils, and they did it again this Sunday. Wow, como vuele el tiempo.

Zone Pic, after our zone meeting this week. LESSSSS GOOOOO, ZONA ZACULEU
