Only in Guatemala!

The volcano looked super beautiful the other day. Only in Guatemala!

I didn’t take many pictures this week, ha-ha sorry. But here´s a pic of my garden, it’s cilantro.

Familia!!!!

Thanks for writing me! I love hearing all about the Dalton Clan. This week, a bunch of super funny things happened, well basically yesterday, ha-ha.

#1, As we were teaching a lesson, I was drinking hot chocolate, and elder muse told me something and made me laugh, ha-ha, and I couldn´t stop laughing, and I already had hot chocolate in my mouth, and while I was trying to swallow, I failed, and it came out my nose, ha-ha. #2, Elder muse was explaining how rough the winters are in Utah to an investigator, ha-ha, in Spanish winter is "invierno", really similar to infierno which means "hell". So he instead of saying, the winter is really rough in Utah, he said Hell is pretty rough in Utah, haha, funny Spanish mistake, and then I told somebody that we had another silla (chair) coming up. Instead of saying we had another Cita (appointment) coming up. And also as we were walking through a dark field at night, we were just about to enter this small dirt street, and you have to walk down a small muddy slope to get there, and as I walked down, ssssssliiiiippppp, I slid and landed straight on my back and popped right up, there were a few people around, but none of them seemed to notice, ha-ha, how convenient!

I guess what I learned from all these funny little experiences is that, in every moment of the day we need to be comfortable enough to laugh at ourselves, comfortable enough to enjoy the little embarrassing moments that life throw at us. If we can’t laugh out loud and smile... we need to take a deep breath and lighten up a bit. There are a lot of sad things in the world, but there is also lots of love and joy. Look for the good in life. Smile as you walk down the street. Laugh out loud. This is my small advice for the week, thanks for all you guys do for me, I love you lots, and I am praying for you always, keep being the awesome family you are, and I´ll see you guys in about 8 months ;)
