Happy Birthday Elder Browning!

Here we are with the family of Hermana Milagro, she has 8 kids, and their family is so awesome! We have been visiting them for quite some time. They are a family of less actives who have now started to reactivate. We have even started them to help out in Missionary Work. This Sunday they brought a family of investigators to church. We were nervous because our other investigators had canceled on us, and we thought that we weren´t going to have anybody come to church, and to make things even more interesting the president of the mission decided to come to our church this Sunday morning with all of his counselors and their wives. But, just as sacrament started we saw milagro and her family pull up, and yes, they brought a whole family with them. And since Milagro´s family is so huge, when we ushered them inside, it looked like we had over 20 people come to church. We sat up with them in the two front rows, completely filling the two benches, squished and tight. I’m glad we have had a chance to help out this family, it makes me smile when other people our happy.

And to top that off they bought us a cake on Saturday. It’s always a good week when it’s your comps. Birthday, because you are always with him, and get to eat anything that he gets to eat, ha-ha.

Can you tell that the cupcake candles are supposed to make a 21?

So hey Familia!

This week was great every week we have is just so packed and busy, we are always walking, never resting, always talking, teaching, and listening to investigators, members, other missionaries, random people in the street like the bolos who will every so often yell out, Que hora es, because they have absolutely no idea what time of day it is or even what day of the week it is. We have a bunch of cilantro seeds so we planted cilantro in our house, we are officially becoming even more Chapin (guatamalan) because we have started a garden. I get home at 9:15/9:30 every night. We do our nightly plan session, and then I’m just so exhausted that I crash and go to sleep... Unless I have to stay up late collecting data from the other missionaries in the zone. I love my eight hours of sleep, absolutely love it. This week was elder Brownings birthday, two families bought him a cake, and today we were taken to a steak house, and they bought us each like a 20 to 30 dollar plate of food..... ya I know, some of the folks here in Xela got PISTO... (money). But overall it was a really great, speedy, successful week of missionary work.

We had a goal this week of finding 65 new people to teach as a zone, soooo..... we did do a lot of contacting, whew, I love contacting.... I really do! My comp doesn´t like it... ha-ha, but I think its fun knocking on doors, talking to random people in the street. We ended up finding 78 new as a zone, I’m so proud of everyone, like soo sooo happy! And I was wondering with your permiso, can I use the card to buy the zone doughnuts, Please ;) I think they deserve it. Let me know....

That’s awesome! I’m so proud of my bro. Aaron, he is gonna be great, send me tons of pics from the U State game, if he gets a chance to play!

Love Elder Dalton

Picture from the Restaurant that the members from Elder Browning’s old area took him to. They bought us some super expensive food, really really really really really good steak, ha-ha ;) Like I said, It’s always a good week when it’s your comps. Birthday!

And this is the Jesus Wall, It’s above elder Browning´s bed. One day this entire room will be covered in Temples and pictures of the Savior.

This is the Temple Wall! I have been cutting pics out of the liahonas and pasting them on the wall above my bed, it looks soooo sweet!
