I feel soooo blessed.

I can’t even explain how blessed I feel right now, yesterday, was the most successful Sunday I´ve had in my entire mission, we had 15 investigators come to church, and we have 19 baptismal fechas. The blessings keep flowing and flowing on in. We keep finding new families and we keep inviting them to be baptized in the first lesson, and they all say yes, yes, yes, I feel soooo blessed.

Up on the mountain last week we found a sheperd and his sheep. It was a cool sight to see. It immediantly reminded me of the scriptures in Matthew 18,
12 What you think? If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them goes astray , you will not go on the mountains , leaving the ninety and nine , and seeketh that which is gone astray ? 13 And if he finds it , truly, I say that rejoices over it more than over the ninety -nine that never went astray . 14 Therefore it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones perish .

Here's a great pic of the fantastic four!!! Eating a delicious freshly cut watermelon.... I'm going to miss the fruit here, ha-ha.

I dont remember if I mentioned to you guys last week, about the new family that we found this last Sunday, the familia Sanchez. Well we found them as we were walking along one of the many dirt roads in our area, and we passed a family who was picking up a bunch of trash from a small soccer field. As we passed them, I felt the quiet impression to go and help them. I thought, "what a great way to do service and share the gospel." So we offered our help and started picking up the trash with the family. As we picked up the trash we started to share the restored gospel with them. I could feel the spirit as I testifyed to the Father of the family about the eternal families and the importance of the priesthood that has been restored in these last days by the prophet Joseph Smith. We were able to put a follow up appointment. We returned a few days later, and we shared the new video we have in the mission, Gracias a que él vive. As we watched the video the spirit filled the room, and after watched the father of the family, David, told us that while watching the video he had felt the desire the follow Jesus Christ more in His life. We read from the Book of Mormon, taught the restoration, and challenged the family of 6 to baptism. They all said YES! We are preparing them to be baptized as a family on the 23rd of May, This past Friday, the 4 kids all attended a baptism that we had in the ward, and then, this sunday, three of them came to church. Its a great blessing to feel that Heavenly Father trusts in you enough to let us find His lost sheep. They are so important to Him, so He´ll do all in His power to invite them to come unto Him. Its no talent that me or my companion have for finding investigators, its the Spririt that guided us to find them. I feel very thankful for having been able to have felt the whisperings of the Spirit, and that we did help this family of 6. It doesn´t matter to me, that I won´t be here to watch them be baptized, What matters is that 6 more souls have to opportunity to return to live in happiness with their Heavenly Father. The Lost Sheep can find their way home.

I love this family too much, too too much, they have been through so much, and I´ve seen the light of Christ grow in them and around them. Auri and her family are strong converts, with strong testimonies of the truthfulness of this gospel. This Sunday she mentioned in the class of pricipios del evangelio, "I would like to say that I am so thankful for elder Dalton, and for what he has done for my family, he has been such an example to my three boys, and I will be forever grateful." when she said that, it made me feel really warm inside, I’m thankful that the Lord used me to make this family happy. and that’s why I don’t want to leave the mission, because I’m so happy. I’m so happy, that they are happy, all of the converts, all of the contacts, the new families, the members, I don’t want to leave them, I want to stay, and I want to find even more families to teach and to love, and I want to have even more investigators in church this Sunday, and not to brag about how successful we are, but to help even more families come unto Christ. For everyone who supported me economically, emotionally, or spiritually before I came on the mission, your efforts have not been in vain. God has changed lives through me, and will continue to do so, until they send me on the airplane. I accepted my call two years ago, and understood I had to finish strong, and believe me, I´m finishing stronger than I had ever imagined. I love this gospel, I love this people, and I love being able to say. "I am a disciple of Christ, the Son of God, and I have to called to bring His word to all the world, so that they can have eternal life.

I Love you all, I when I come home, I´ll be just as willing to help my family and friends come unto Christ as I have done for the people of Guatemala.

Love Elder Dalton

Every Member has been making me delicious going away meals, I’m so grateful for the kindness of the members of Barrio Sion, they give so much and ask so little. I love them a lot.
