Goodbye Garibaldi!

-My time has flown here in Garibaldi, I think I’m going to miss how well I’ve been able to work with the members here. I feel really close to all of them, like they are family, and I hope that they continue to stay strong in the church and be blessed forever.

l'll also miss a ton, my companion Elder Muse... We have had some pretty awesome times together, super funny stuff has happened while we`ve been here in Garibaldi, things that I`ll never forget, ha-ha. I appreciate him for lots of reasons, probably the biggest reason, is that he is just a freakin talented person, and always has the best ideas ever, he`s super outgoing and not afraid to be his chistoso self, so I`ll miss him a bunch. Thanks E. Muse for being sucha sick comp. see you at Utah State in 8 months!!! LESSSSSS GOOOOOOO

Hey Fam!!!
Well, last night I got the news, that yes... I do have changes...
I´m leaving the luxury of Garibaldi and headed out to new land... ha-ha, well, the truth is that I don’t know where I’m going yet... Everyone seems to be under the impression that I`m headed back to HUE HUE, but nothings for certain. If I did go to hue hue, I`d be pretty stoked about it, I would at least be able to look up at my old mountain of Quilinco that I lived in a year ago. Wow, its officially really weird to think about what I was doing a year ago from now, and think that I was preaching the gospel in my first area, baptizing my first converts, it all seems like it happened so long ago even when it wasn`t that long ago.

This week I met an elder who just got here, and he went to VHS as well. At first I didn’t recognize him at all, because he looks super different and has grown like 3 feet. He played Lacrosse with me... He was a sophomore when I was a senior. So he is from Aaron`s grade, his name is elder Davis, I think.... I honestly can’t remember his full name, but he played defense as well, maybe Aaron will remember him.

Every time I see new elders in the mission, I always catch myself saying... who are these people... there are so many elders who I have no Idea who they are... It makes me feel super old in the mission. But, now that I’m getting a new area, I’m going to tell everyone I only have a little more than a year, instead of saying my exact time, ha-ha.

I’m standing with a good friend named Guty, he is the X-Atheist that was baptized 3 months ago. He is a really good friend of ours, and always loves to go on splits with us. I`ll always remember him as a super great guy, with an amazing testimony of the truth that second chances do exist, and even those who have fallen in the deepest holes, can climb back out of them. He plans to go on a mission in next August, we always mess around saying he is going to go to Utah.... He wants to go anywhere but there... He speaks perfect English, but he says, I think everybody is already Mormon in Utah so it would be a terrible mission... ha-ha, I told him that isn`t true, but he still would rather go somewhere like Russia.

La Iglesia es verdadera, y yo lo sè

This week we were able to go to the Temple again with one of our investigators, Katy, her friend Walter, and her little brother Marvin. We also brought some members, Cleivin, who is preparing to serve a mission, and Aljendro who just got back from a mission, and Grecia Ixchajchal who also just returned from the mission.

The hermana taking the pics thought it would be cool to take a Guatemalan style diagonal pic, ha-ha.

You can’t not feel the Spirit walking on the temple grounds.

Now that I’m probably leaving Xela, I won’t have the blessing of looking up to the Temple every night, it truly is beautiful.

"A donde me mandas iré señor, a montañas o islas del mar, diré lo que quieras que diga Señor, y lo que tu quieras seré"
"Where'll send me sir, mountains or islands of the sea, tell what you want to say Lord, and I will be whatever you want"
